The Sea-me Dual Band is an Active Radar Target Enhancer which operates on both X-band and S-band radar.

The Sea-me Radar Target Enhancer is an ACTIVE system which receives a radar signal, amplifies it and re-transmits it. This ensures a stronger return signal and a more even strength around the full 360° azimuth.

These Sea-me X-band units are all under 4 years old and have been thoroughly examined to ensure they are in full working order. Any new components have been upgraded and the tube and cables are brand new, The control box supplied with the re-conditioned units are brand new. The re-conditioned units come with the standard 12 month Guarantee.

For masthead fitting we recommend that you use a Glomex V9173 stand-off bracket. This takes the Sea-me antenna about 25cms away from the mast and out of the way of the other equipment at the masthead.

The control box gives you a visual indication that you have been struck by a radar signal. The sounder, which can be connected to the control box, provides an audible indication.

This is suitable for boats with 12 or 24V DC supplies and for boats where the control box will be mounted in an exposed position. Please contact us for more details.

The CSB200 is a low cost AIS transponder, designed specifically for the Leisure Marine and Fishing Boat market. It meets the new Class "B" standard that allows vessels that are not required to fit Class "A" units to voluntarily fit an AIS transponder. It enables boats sailing in busy shipping lanes to automatically transmit their current position, course and speed to other vessels and shore stations within VHF range.

Connected to a compatible on board PC running a Navigation Program, or Chart Plotter, information received from other vessels or shore stations can also be displayed on screen giving the skipper or navigator a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range. This information is updated every 3 seconds to 6 minutes depending on speed and rate of turn, enabling the track of the vessels in range to be plotted.
